DevotionsTV highlights the Redemptorist mission:
Through Mary, serving the most abandoned

“Mary teaches us how to be  pilgrims of love, how to live the gospel, welcoming the stranger, comforting the sorrowful, seeking justice for the voiceless. With Mary,  we make Jesus present to others.” - Fr Ako Walker CSsR, DevotionsTV homilist

From the Redemptorist Constitution:
Serving the most abandoned

The Redemptorist Constitution calls us to follow the example of Jesus by preaching the Good News to the most abandoned, especially the poor. From the time of the Apostles onward, we are empowered with the gift of the Holy Spirit to become shepherds to others searching for life and redemption, searching for ways to serve their families, friends, colleagues and neighbours. And beyond the familiar and the beloved, to serve the most marginalized in our midst. The poor, the elderly, the imprisoned, the battered and abused.

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.”

Matthew 25:34-36

Following Mary’s example as first disciple of Jesus, we re-hear and re-learn His teachings
